Nkomba

Ron Nkomba is an acoustic folk artist who sings in both English and Chichewa, the national languages of Malawi.

As well as his interpretations of traditional African folk songs, his compositions draw upon experiences and influences from both Europe and Africa which reflect his up-bringing.

Nkomba is an impassioned performer whose songs provide insightful social and political commentary, from the current devastation of deforestation and the plight of women in Malawi, to present day UK politics and sea drenched love songs.

Nkomba splits his time between Malawi, Egypt and London, and can be found playing regular gigs in these countries and at festivals such as The Lake Of Stars situated around the shores of Lake Malawi.
